You need a functioning sledgehammer or heavy bolt cutters to penetrate the evidence lockers and armory cages located behind the booking desk. Weapon crates inside these locked rooms maintain an elevated spawn weight for early-to-mid tier ballistic protection, providing the necessary defense to tackle regional military bases.
Outside of municipal armories, players should scout fortified civilian redoubts. Zombie fortress caches, structures identifiable by makeshift wooden catwalks, spiked logs, and reinforced sandbag revetments on downtown rooftops, feature dedicated loot chests in their central command nests.
