Q1: How old is Mitsuri Kanroji at the start of Demon Slayer?
A1: Mitsuri is 19 years old when she is introduced alongside the other Hashira during the Rehabilitation Training Arc, and she remains 19 throughout her key battles in the Swordsmith Village and Infinity Castle arcs.
Q2: Why does Mitsuri eat so much if she is only 19?
A2: Mitsuri was born with a rare biological anomaly that gives her muscle fibers eight times the density of an average human. Maintaining that muscle mass requires enormous caloric fuel, leading her to eat meals that match the portions of multiple professional athletes.
Q3: Is Mitsuri older than Shinobu Kocho?
A3: Yes. Mitsuri is 19 years old, making her roughly one year older than Shinobu Kocho, who is 18 throughout the main events of the story.
Q4: What is the age difference between Mitsuri and Obanai Iguro?
A4: Mitsuri is 19 and Obanai is 21, creating a two-year age gap between the Love Hashira and Serpent Hashira.
