Can I use a browser source for Veadotube Mini instead?
No. Veadotube Mini is a standalone local desktop application, not a web socket service like Discord Reactive Images or Fugiman's reactive tool. It must be captured directly through your system's graphics pipelines via Game Capture or Window Capture.
Will enabling transparency impact my in-game framerate?
The impact is imperceptible on modern systems. Native alpha capture uses hardware-accelerated memory sharing, adding less than 0.05 milliseconds of frame processing overhead inside OBS Studio. It performs substantially better than running filter-heavy Chroma Key calculations on raw video frames.
Why are the edges of my avatar looking crunchy or discolored?
Crunchy edges mean you are using a Window Capture source with a Chroma Key filter applied over a green background. Switch to a Game Capture source with Allow Transparency checked and cycle Veadotube's background to the transparent checkerboard to resolve edge distortion.
