Bibb's career hit an inflection point when Apple TV+ debuted Palm Royale in 2024. Set against the sun-bleached, ultra-wealthy backdrop of 1969 Palm Beach, the series assembled a comedic powerhouse ensemble: Kristen Wiig, Allison Janney, Laura Dern, and Carol Burnett. Bibb’s character, Dinah Donahue, served as the show's nervous emotional core, a country-club socialite clinging frantically to her standing while navigating illicit affairs and social sabotage.
Critics singled Bibb out for holding her own against legendary scene partners. As Palm Royale headed into its second season, television writers took notice. That momentum translated directly into a guest-starring turn on season three of Max's critically lauded Hacks. Playing an eccentric, out-of-touch Hollywood figure, she scored an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series, signaling industry-wide recognition that had previously eluded her.
