A major highlight of the evening was the inclusion of local hero Baby Rose. The Atlanta-raised vocalist, known for her smoldering, smoky contralto, set an intense tone early in the night with selections from her critically acclaimed catalog. The arena floor filled unusually early, a clear sign of local respect for the hometown singer.
The true surprise unfolded halfway through Dean's set. After finishing "Danger," Dean paused to invite Baby Rose back to the stage. Standing shoulder to shoulder under twin amber spotlights, the pair launched into an impromptu vocal jam that fused classic Southern soul textures with contemporary British neo-soul phrasing. Fan footage of the sequence flooded TikTok and Instagram within minutes, with viewers praising the distinct sonic contrast between Rose’s gritty low-end resonance and Dean’s crystal-clear falsetto runs.
