Q1: Who are the active touring members of Salt-N-Pepa on the 'It’s Iconic' tour?
The tour features founding frontwomen Cheryl "Salt" James and Sandra "Pepa" Denton. Longtime turntable partner Deidra Roper (DJ Spinderella) severed ties with the touring brand in 2019 following well-publicized royalty and legal disputes, and she does not perform on this tour.
Q2: Why did critics rate Salt-N-Pepa higher than TLC on this tour?
According to major concert reviews from outlets like The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Chicago Tribune, Salt-N-Pepa delivered high-tempo live rhyming, tight pacing, and physical crowd engagement. In contrast, TLC struggled with vocal projection, awkward stage pauses, and the inescapable challenge of recreating their catalog without Left Eye's live rhymes.
Q3: What songs are included in Salt-N-Pepa's 2026 tour setlist?
Their set centers around their biggest multi-platinum hits, led by "Push It," "Shoop," "Let's Talk About Sex," "Whatta Man" (often teased alongside En Vogue), "Do You Want Me," and their breakout answer record "The Showstopper."
