The final tactical act of Lisa Lisa’s warrior life played out at the foot of Piz Bernina in the Swiss Alps. Following Caesar Zeppeli’s death inside the hotel lair of the Pillar Men, Lisa Lisa maintained an iron composure. While Joseph broke down in tears, she scolded him to keep moving, only betraying her profound grief when she inadvertently wore her cigarette backward.
At the Skeleton's Heel, Lisa Lisa bluffed masterfully. Holding the Red Stone of Aja over a chasm, she negotiated an honorable ritual duel: Joseph would face Wamuu, and she would battle Kars one-on-one.
Her duel against Kars demonstrated unmatched technical Hamon skill. Using her silk scarf, she detected Kars' movement through the ground, bypassing his vision to strike him through his armored foot.
Yet Kars held no warrior code.
The Pillar Man deployed a vampire body double to receive the blow, ambushed Lisa Lisa from behind with his Light Slip Blades, and severed the ligaments in her legs. Kars then weaponized her body, holding her by her ankles over a cliff face to force Joseph to fight while hanging onto a single lifeline.
Even while unconscious and bleeding out, her defensive endurance kept her alive long enough for Joseph to outwit Kars, save her from the drop, and use the Red Stone to blast the Pillar Man into the vacuum of space.
