The face defines which version of Yuji Itadori you are presenting. You have three distinct stylistic paths: clean-slate baseline Yuji, the possessed Ryomen Sukuna variant, or the blood-stained Shibuya Incident survivor.
The Sukuna Variation
When the King of Curses manifests, distinct geometric line markings spread across Yuji’s face, accompanied by secondary eye slits resting right below the lower orbital bone.
- Apply a long-wearing matte foundation to neutralize redness. Set thoroughly with translucent powder; sweat on convention floors will quickly degrade line work.
- Skip dry makeup pencils. Use waterproof gel eyeliner, cake-activated body paint (such as Mehron Paradise AQ), or cosmetic liquid liner.
- Draw two sharp vertical bands running down each cheekbone. Place two parallel horizontal bands across each wrist if your forearms are exposed. Draw the horizontal line cutting across the bridge of the nose, curving slightly upward at the cheeks.
- Use a fine 00 detail brush to paint thin, curved crescent lines under your natural eyes. Add a touch of deep crimson or plum eye shadow along the inner rim to create the illusion of irritated, opening eyelids.
Shibuya Incident Battle Damage
The winter 2023, 2024 anime adaptation cemented Yuji's iconic beaten, broken, and unyielding aesthetic from his fight against Mahito.
- Yuji sustains a severe jagged laceration crossing his right eye down his cheek. Build the base using rigid collodion on non-sensitive skin, allowing it to pucker the tissue naturally. Add deep dried-blood hues with alcohol-activated makeup palettes.
- Stipple deep purples, olive greens, and maroon cream paints across the cheekbones, jawline, and knuckles. Real contusions fade unevenly; avoid solid patches of single-color paint.
- Rub a charcoal weathering powder or matte dark brown cosmetic powder into the hairline, collar, and neck to simulate debris from shattered subterranean concrete.
