Online misidentification spreads rapidly because casual social media users rarely inspect the technical architecture of index farms. In this case, two distinct digital identities were conflated:
First is the established digital creator Luna Bae, who built a sizable following across subscription platforms and social networks through conventional glamour and adult content modeling. Second are various independent transgender creators who share either the given name "Luna" or the common moniker "Bae."
When programmatic scrapers indiscriminately stripped watermarks and re-hosted 15-second teaser clips across secondary video hubs, they routinely assigned synthetic metadata pools to the files. A short clip featuring a trans creator named Luna would be tagged with "Bae" to capture generic trend traffic. Simultaneously, clips of the model Luna Bae were tagged with categorical descriptors from adjacent trending feeds. Within months, automated cross-referencing collapsed these completely unrelated individuals into a single nonexistent composite figure.
