Fresh off the breakout pop-culture phenomenon of 2004's Napoleon Dynamite, Jon Heder took on Clark Reedy, a paperboy who ate sunscreen, broke car windows, and possessed virtually zero hand-eye coordination. His unhinged physical humor provided the film with its most absurd visual gags.
Rather than chasing studio live-action leads indefinitely, Heder moved into voice acting and character work. He voiced Chicken Joe in the Oscar-nominated animated film Surf's Up (2007) and took on extensive voice roles across Disney, Nickelodeon, and independent animation series like Star vs. the Forces of Evil. Heder continues to appear at major fan conventions, occasionally joining original cast members for indie projects and comic book conventions while prioritizing a quieter personal life outside the Hollywood press machine.
